Improv-2-Improve Invited to Perform at Human Rights Day Event

Improv-2-Improve has been invited to perform as the main event at the International Human Rights Day & Community Gathering at Beverly City Hall on Thursday, December 6, 2018, at 7:00 p.m. The Beverly Human Rights Committee also plans to feature Improv-2-Improve in the Salem News.

Improv-2-Improve is Pingree School's social justice theater troupe. The goal of our work is to highlight relevant issues and topics related to the current national climate. On the evening of December 6, the group will be presenting a series of original scenes that depict various forms of discrimination and oppression. The audience will be invited to step into the scenes and participate in the improvisation in order to change the outcome for the better. We hope this form of engaging, interactive theater will help inspire audience discussion and action for change.
