Winter 2022–2023 Athletics Recap
The Highlanders had another standout winter season, including a NEPSSA championship title for Leo Bertone ’25, a first-place finish for boys skiing in the Central Mass Ski League, and a third-place finish for girls skiing. Pingree’s boys and girls basketball teams both finished the season strong, advancing to the first round of the NEPSAC Class B Tournament. Ray Cuevas (boys basketball) and Bertone (boys swim) were both named EIL Players of the Year. Coach Steve Gibbs (boys basketball) and Coach Brian Carver (swim) were also honored as EIL Coaches of the Year. Below is a list of winter Pingree athletics awards.
