We are thrilled to introduce the newest members of our community, who bring a wealth of experience and passion to their roles:
Matthew Allaire joins the Athletics Department as the Athletics Auxiliary and Communications Manager. With degrees from the University of Pittsburgh and Florida Atlantic University, Matthew has experience with Harvard University, the Florida Panthers, and Florida Atlantic University.
Courtney Callahan steps into the College Office part-time as the College Office Coordinator. A Quinnipiac University graduate, Courtney has previously worked at The Dana Hall School and will also coach field hockey at Pingree.
Brian Carver is joining the Math Department as a Math Teacher. With degrees from Binghamton University and Lehman College, Brian has taught at Riverdale Country School and Brookwood School and will continue coaching volleyball and swimming.
Matthew Chagnon becomes the Manager of Athletics Operations. Having earned degrees from Endicott College, Matthew brings experience from St. John’s Preparatory School, Amherst College, the Worcester Railers HC, and the Boston Red Sox.
Jennifer Groeber joins the Art Department as the Visual Art Teacher. With degrees from Yale University and the Maryland Institute College of Art, Jen has taught at several prestigious schools and will also direct the Bertolon Gallery and coach lacrosse.
Beth Johnston is the new Photography Teacher in the Art Department. A Wake Forest University and RISD alumna, Beth has taught at Adams State University and RISD, and will coach cross-country.
Brandon Miranda will support our Technology Department as an IT Support Technician. With experience from Network Coverage, Hamilton-Wenham Regional School District, and Vertex Pharmaceuticals, Brandon is also studying networking and IT.
Chris Park joins the Mathematics Department as a Math Teacher. He holds degrees from Cornell University and Ithaca College, with previous teaching experience at The Academy at Penguin Hall, and will coach basketball and track.
Jesse Rasmussen becomes our Theater Director. With degrees from the University of Melbourne and Yale School of Drama, Jesse brings a background in theater direction and will also pursue a degree in Nature Writing.
Fabiola Salas Villalobos will join the Language Department as a Spanish Teacher and Director of the Pingree Fellowship Program. She holds degrees from the Universidad Nacional de Costa Rica and UNC-Chapel Hill, with prior roles at Durham Academy and the DREAM program.
Johanna Ureña also joins the Language Department as a Spanish Teacher. An alumna of the University of Massachusetts, Johanna previously taught at Whittier Regional Vocational School and Up Academy Leonard, and will coach tennis and assist with the swim team.
Kelly Zullo becomes our School Store Director. Known as a parent and volunteer, Kelly has experience with the Boys & Girls Club of Stoneham and Wakefield and various banking roles.
