We are offering a robust selection of opportunities for parent engagement this fall, in addition to our many afternoon games and activities. The following events are also populated in the school calendar on our website. Special thanks to our Pingree Parent Network (PPN) and Ashley Goliti-Chase, director of alumni and parent engagement, for planning and coordinating these events. Details for these events may be found on the Pingree calendar.
Coffee, Conversation, and Community
Join fellow parents and guardians for coffee and conversation throughout the fall to connect and build community. Coffee and tea will be available under the Arts Lawn tent between 7:30 and 8:30 a.m. We welcome all parents and guardians to stop by at their convenience and enjoy each other’s company.
Grade-Level Parent Socials
Each year, the PPN, in coordination with Pingree administration, hosts grade-level socials (formerly known as parent potlucks) on campus to connect with fellow parents and guardians and to hear important updates from the school relevant to their child’s grade. Included below are the grade-level social dates for this academic year. A separate invitation will be shared in advance of each event.
Highlighted arts and athletics events aim to amplify school spirit, build camaraderie, and foster support of Pingree’s artists and athletes. All parents and guardians are invited to join us for this fall’s remaining lineup of highlighted events:
- Monday, September 27: Boys Varsity Soccer vs. Beaver Country Day at 4:45 p.m.
- Friday, October 15: Varsity Field Hockey vs. Winsor at 4:30 p.m.
- Friday, October 29: Girls Varsity Soccer vs. Dexter Southfield at 4:30 p.m.
- Friday, October 29: Fall Theater Production at 7:00 p.m.
- Friday, November 12: Dance Concert at 7:00 p.m.
- Saturday, November 13: Football vs. Dexter Southfield at 5:00 p.m.
Offered once per trimester, Parent Coffees with Head of School Tim Johnson are intended as an opportunity for parents and guardians to connect with each other and to hear relevant, timely updates from Pingree administration regarding programs and initiatives.
Pingree Parent Network Opportunities
The PPN looks forward to offering a variety of opportunities for parents and guardians to connect on and off campus this fall. Opportunities will include Pingree walking groups, Snack Shack volunteering, civic engagement projects, Community Learning Garden events, and more.
