Experiential Learning with L.A.B.

Bats. Zendoodles. Mini-triathlons. Salsa-making. Mock trials. If you had 25 workshops to choose from, what would you pick?

Pingree's Local Learning Across Borders (L.A.B.) program is made up of workshops on campus and beyond that enrich our curriculum with days dedicated to experiential learning. Fall programming has students break into their respective grades for service projects at Crane Estate, a hike on Mount Major, a day at the Edward M. Kennedy Institue, and a dedicated college visit/application day. In the spring, groups venture off-campus from southern New Hampshire to Boston for tours, projects, and workshops.

Our winter Local L.A.B. day takes place on campus. This year featured workshops in the morning, lunch and karaoke, an inspirational assembly with Tom Smith '08, and the annual seniors versus FaculTEAM basketball game
