A Day with Mr. Richard Blanco: Poetry, Insight, and the Meaning of Home

We were truly honored to host the illustrious inaugural poet, Mr. Richard Blanco, at Pingree! His central question during a heartfelt morning of connection and dialogue with students and faculty was, "What does home mean to you?" After sharing a selection of his poems, Mr. Blanco discussed the importance of finding universal themes in specific experiences, the transformative power of language, and the significance of sharing stories to truly see one another.
