How to Apply
Once enrolled and at no cost to them, students from our partnering and sponsoring organizations are provided everything they need to participate in the program: round-trip transportation from Lawrence and Lynn, meals, and all school supplies. Sponsored and tuition-paying students from other communities are also invited to apply for a small number of available spaces.
Who Can Apply
Applicants must be:
- Enrolled in grades 7 or 8
- Committed to attending the four-week summer program
- Willing and able to participate in all activities
- Available for interview with the Program Director

April 1: Summer Academy Applications Due
April 15: Civil Rights Tour through American South with high school students
May 15: Walking tour of Boston’s African American Heritage Trail
May 30: Summer students selected
June 26: Opening Brunch for students and families
July 6–30: Prep@Pingree Summer Academy
This year’s summer program will begin July 6, 2021, and end on July 30, 2021.
