How to Apply

Once enrolled and at no cost to them, students from our partnering and sponsoring organizations are provided everything they need to participate in the program: round-trip transportation from Lawrence and Lynn, meals, and all school supplies. Sponsored and tuition-paying students from other communities are also invited to apply for a small number of available spaces.

Who Can Apply

Applicants must be:
  • Enrolled in grades 7 or 8
  • Committed to attending the four-week summer program
  • Willing and able to participate in all activities
  • Available for interview with the Program Director

January 4: Application available online
February 16: Tour of Lesley University
March 15: Applications due
March & April: Student interviews and information sessions at partnering schools and organizations
April 13–19: Civil Rights Tour for high school students
May 1: Acceptance letters emailed to families
May 11: Ellis Island Tour
May 31: Enrollment forms, release forms, medical forms, permission slips due
June 29: Brunch for P@P families at Pingree School
July 8–August 2: Program in session

This year’s summer program will begin July 8, 2019, and end on August 2, 2019.
