Players focus on fundamental techniques such as hitting, fielding, pitching, and base running throughout the season. The team environment emphasizes both individual improvement and collective success, fostering a supportive atmosphere where players can grow both on and off the field. With a focus on sportsmanship and competitive play, the JV Baseball team prepares players for the varsity level while instilling a passion for baseball.

Coaches

Head Coach: Rob Rao

Rob has been coaching at Pingree since 2018 and currently coaches Varsity golf and JV baseball. He played high school, American legion and Amateur baseball growing up and now shares his knowledge of the game with the students of Pingree. Outside of Pingree, Rob works at the Beverly Country Club.

Assistant Coach: Mike Posternack

Mike Posternack currently works as the Associate Director of Admission at Pingree. He played baseball from a young age through his high school years and has continued to stay involved in the game after his playing days ended. Prior to coming to Pingree, Posternack coached JV baseball at The Rivers School for four seasons and also worked in the admission office.
