We see education everywhere.

A Pingree education is dynamic, provocative, and exciting. Our students are consistently challenged to step out of the traditional academic setting and into real world situations that compel them to draw from and expand upon the knowledge they’ve acquired in the classroom. With ample opportunity for service learning, civic engagement, cultural exchange, internships, and independent projects, Pingree students learn by doing—by taking initiative, making their own decisions, meeting new people, and getting their hands dirty.

A male student looks at another student speaking. There is a small stuffed animal on the desk in front of him with a Chinese character on its chest.

“I like to think that there is no typical day at Pingree, that every day is different, is an adventure, is a time to learn, to grow, to stretch outside of one's comfort zone, to make friends, to try new things, and ultimately to leave in a different place than where you entered."Tim JohnsonHead of School
