We See You Expressing Yourself

Unleash your imagination at Pingree through stimulating visual and performing arts courses. Our approach is rich with humor, empathy, and an awareness of the interconnectedness of the arts with the world-at-large. Self-expression is strongly encouraged, whether you’re new to a craft or you’ve been practicing your talents for years. Faculty members are remarkable artists themselves who can offer technical advice and mentorship as you embark on telling your story and interpreting global events through an artistic medium.

“In the winter of my sophomore year I tried out a course called Music Production. By the end, my class and I were producing our own songs without instruction and sharing back our sounds in supportive jam sessions at the end of class. This cool experience prompted me to continue music production classes throughout my years.”Erica DowdRecent Graduate

Grade 9 Arts Program

From your first day at Pingree, you’ll tap into your creativity with a crash course in the arts. The First-Year Arts Program introduces all incoming students to a series of visual and performing arts disciplines, allowing you to explore new interests and talents you may not yet have discovered within yourself. Rotations include ceramics, photography, drawing and painting, 3D art, music, theater, dance, and technical theater.

Arts Courses

Whether you're a budding artist or a seasoned creator, Pingree's robust selection of arts classes has something just for you. Dive into drawing and painting, sculpt something extraordinary, see the world through a new lens in photography, experience the thrill of the stage, showcase your musical talents, or groove to the beat in dance. Refine your skills, unleash your imagination, and discover your unique artistic voice.

Arts Faculty

Pingree's arts faculty is made up of dedicated professionals and working artists. They inspire creativity and innovation, fostering a supportive environment where students are encouraged to explore, take risk, and develop their artistic voice.
