Josh Allen ‘98, P'27
Personal: Growing up in Saugus, MA as the son of a lobster fisherman, I had the good fortune of learning the importance of hard work, creativity, and family from a young age. I attended Pingree and graduated in 1998. While there I captained our soccer, hockey, and lacrosse teams, wrote and recorded music, served as the VP of our class my senior year, and even had a cameo in the winter production of "Grease." After Pingree, I attended Bowdoin College, where I majored in Government & Legal Studies, captained their lacrosse team, and graduated in 2002. I met my wife, Colleen, the year after graduating and we got married in 2006. Layla, our oldest, is Pingree class of '27 and a proud member of the dance team. Her younger sister, Kayleigh, has her sights set on potentially joining the class of '29. The four of us, along with our 5-year old bernedoodle, Bear, live in Lynnfield.

Professional: In my years as a go to market leader in technology at LogMeIn, CarGurus, Drift, Owl Labs and Tive, I've been focused on building out hard working, efficient, high-performing customer-facing teams. My belief is that an effective inside sales organization coupled with strategic investments in field/enterprise sales, partnerships/alliances, a value-adding customer success & support organization, and surrounded by a powerful marketing machine, is the best recipe for true go-to-market scale. When you mix those ingredients with a strong, differentiated product and a magnetic market, unconventional growth happens. Those are the types of teams I build and lead.
