Flying Horse Outdoor Sculpture Exhibit

The fifth annual Flying Horse Outdoor Sculpture Exhibit opens on the Pingree campus on Sunday, September 1. More than 40 works by 34 New England artists will adorn the 100-acre campus until November 23. The Honorary Chair of this year's show is Chris Williams of Essex whose work is well-known and seen by thousands of people every day at Logan Airport. An opening reception with the artists is open to the public on September 27 at 1 p.m. The show is free and open to the public every day during daylight hours. For more information call 978-468-4415.

To honor the five decades of women educated at Pingree School and the school's first 50th reunion, the work of five prominent women artists - Ellen Schon, Nancy Schon, Beverly Seamans, Lindley Briggs, and Arlene Hecht - will also be displayed inside the school's library as a special addition to the Flying Horse exhibit.
