Junior Maura Grady was recently named a US Lacrosse All-American (First Team.) "This is a HUGE accomplishment, as big of
an accomplishment she can get in high school," according to Coach Sarah Powers. This year Maura was also named to the Lower New England Team #1 (second consecutive year) where she competed in the top bracket of the national tournament. Her team won the National Title this year, being named the best team in the US. Maura is also playing on the Under Armour Underclass Team for the third
year in a row. The games will occur in early July.
"What is amazing about Maura is that her calmness and leadership anchor teams," says Powers. "The UA and LNE coaches told me they devised an aggressive style of defense knowing that Maura is in goal and will make the save if the defense falls apart." Pretty impressive.
