Parent Multicultural Education Coalition

The Parent Multicultural Education Coalition (PMEC) assists and supports in ensuring that Pingree is open, inclusive and welcoming. Our goal is to be a community of people who respect, nurture, and sustain an awareness of how the diversity among us enriches all of our lives. In addition to discussing institutional policies and practices, PMEC meets monthly to plan school events designed to broaden awareness and understanding of the many cultural perspectives, beliefs, and/or experiences in our school and the outside world.
