Todd Nolen has coached at tennis at Pingree since 2008 and took the position as Head Coach of the boys' program in 2012, leading the team to the New England Class C Championship finals in his first season. In his playing career, he played for Middlesex School in Concord, MA before moving onto the college level. At the University of St Andrews in Scotland, he enjoyed great success while competing in the Scottish University Sports Association's First Division. He also led the team as the Captain/Coach for two seasons. As a teaching professional, his work has focused on developing talent in junior players to prepare them for tennis at the high school and collegiate levels, while maintaining a positive and energetic atmosphere. In addition, players learn to represent the game of tennis as upstanding sportsmen. He currently serves as the Tennis Director at the Annisquam Yacht Club in Gloucester, MA.
