Campus Visit and Interview
A visit to Pingree is the best way for prospective families to experience the vibrancy of the community, understand the power of the student/faculty relationships, and learn about our strong academic and co-curricular programs. A typical visit consists of a student-led tour, an interview with a member of the admission staff and a parent meeting with the same admission staff member to answer questions about the school. Plan on your visit lasting approximately 1 ½ hours. Students with special interests are encouraged to request a meeting with specific program directors and coaches when scheduling the visit.

How should I prepare for my visit?
The visit and interview is a required step in the application process. However, we want you to achieve a strong sense of Pingree and whether it may be a good fit for you.
Prior to visiting, you should read the view book to gain an impression of our mission, programs and robust curriculum.
To help you better determine if Pingree is a match, we encourage you to prepare some questions. Think about questions you may have about attending a prep school, questions specific to Pingree’s academic rigor, programs and culture, as well as questions specific to your goals and how Pingree can help you to achieve them. What to wear?
We suggest that our visitors follow the dress code; collared shirt for boys, no jeans, no hats. Sneakers are permitted.
