In addition to required summer class reading, all students, faculty, and staff will read a common book, chosen and voted on by the entire community. The Community Read provides us with an opportunity to participate with each other and come together for discussions, presentations, and other related activities at the start of the new school year.

This year we will read The Other Wes Moore: One Name, Two Fates by Wes Moore. A New York Times Bestseller published in 2010, this book was chosen based on its core themes of storytelling, coming of age, and self-identity in a global world.
