The Pingree Fund

The Pingree Fund is the NUMBER ONE fundraising priority of Pingree School. It supports everything that happens at Pingree – in the classroom, on the athletic fields, in the gallery and on the stage. Pingree Fund gifts are unrestricted which allows the school to use the funds where they are most needed at any given time. Gifts to the Pingree Fund support the day-to-day operations of the school and are not used to construct facilities. Support at all levels is needed and very appreciated.

The 2012-2013 Pingree Fund goal is $825,000 – nearly 8% of the school’s operating budget. Participation from every constituency – parents, alumni, parents of alumni, grandparents, and faculty and staff – speaks volumes to foundations, corporations, and friends of the commitment our community has to Pingree School’s success and advancement. Last year, 100% of our Board of Trustees, Alumni Leadership Board, and faculty and staff made a gift to the Pingree Fund - a bold statement about their commitment to our school!

Leadership Giving Societies

Every gift to Pingree School is valued and appreciated. However it is Leadership Giving that propels the continued growth of the Pingree Fund. Donors who made gifts of $1,000 or larger accounted for 85% of the $752,000 raised in 2011-2012.

All donations to the Pingree Fund are recognized in our Annual Report of Giving published each fall. In addition, Pingree hosts a Leadership Donor Dinner to thank the genrosity of those families who have made a contribution of $1,000 or more to the school.
