The Cum Laude Society

The Cum Laude Society is a national organization founded in 1906 that recognizes and honors those very select juniors and seniors who have demonstrated highest excellence in scholarship as well as unquestioned character, honor, and integrity in all aspects of school life.

Membership is determined during the spring term by a confidential deliberation and vote of the faculty members of  Pingree's Chapter. A student must complete three semesters of work at Pingree to be eligible for Cum Laude. Only grades a student obtains at Pingree will be used in the selection for Cum Laude.
