What to Support

Pingree Fund

Tuition alone does not cover the full cost to educate Pingree students. Pingree relies on unrestricted giving to the Pingree Fund to help bridge this financial gap. Gifts to the Pingree Fund are investments in every student and have an immediate, and virtually limitless, impact on our students, faculty, programs, and the maintenance of our beautiful campus.

Malcolm Coates Prep@Pingree Program

With the goal of assuring more access to high quality education, the dual mission of Prep@Pingree is to provide an ongoing academic and cultural enrichment program for talented, hard-working, middle school students predominantly from underserved communities and to strengthen the Pingree School community.

Head's Fund for Innovation

Gifts to the Head’s Fund for Innovation provide an annual budget for Pingree’s Head of School to support promising new ideas, coursework, and innovative programs to ensure lasting, forward-thinking change that strengthens the Pingree experience.

Endowment

Various opportunities exist for creating named endowment funds at Pingree School. Such funds become part of the permanent resources of the School and provide Pingree with an independent and assured source of revenue. Endowment bearing individuals’ names, or otherwise rendered discrete from unrestricted funds, must be approved by the Head of School.

Planned Giving

Planned giving refers to the thoughtful and deliberate process through which a donor makes a charitable gift to Pingree School from his/her estate assets. Planned gifts are usually deferred and often irrevocable. Types of planned gifts include bequests, trusts, and contracts between the donor and Pingree School which usually require legal documentation and consultation with a professional advisor.
