Professional Development
Each year, Pingree supports as many teachers, staff, and administrators as possible, both individually and collectively.
Please see below for a sampling of professional development opportunities that were completed recently by our faculty, staff and administration.
Recent Highlights
- Approximately 60 educators, staff and coaches receive financial support for professional development each year.
- Faculty and staff members typically attend more than 50 different courses, conferences, or programs of study each year. These programs are spread throughout the country, and we usually support PD-related travel to about 15 different states each year.
- At least 20 faculty and staff members participate in external professional development directly related to equity, inclusion, or diversity work each year.
- Five faculty and staff members received financial support for graduate studies or certificate programs during the 2022-2023 school year.
- Approximately $100,000 is allocated to fund professional development opportunities this year.
