The goals of our program are to develop teams that can compete successfully and to instill in our players the value of always striving for competitive excellence without compromising a commitment to good sportsmanship. Please come by the field to watch one of our games!

Head Coach: Dushawne "Doc" Simpson
Dushawne Simpson is the former Director of Coaching at Aztec and current assistant coach of the Boston Breakers professional team. As coach, Simpson has led Aztec Soccer teams to state, regional, and national titles. Simpson began coaching for Pingree in 2011 and led the team to back-to-back New England championships in 2013 and 2014. He was named Salem News Coach of the Year in 2013.
Before moving over to coaching, Simpson was himself a standout soccer player. Simpson played his youth soccer in Connecticut and played his high school soccer at Avon Old Farms School and then Avon High School. At Avon High School, Simpson helped lead his team to a #2 national high school soccer ranking in 1990 and was selected to the 1990 CT All-State team in Soccer, Basketball, and Track.
Simpson continued to shine at the collegiate level, playing at NCAA Division II powerhouse Southern Connecticut State University (SCSU) as a freshman and then moving on to Salem State College. As a freshman at SCSU, Dushawne was all-conference and Freshman of the Year when he led the league in scoring, and he was an all-conference performer at Salem State College.
Simpson followed up his brilliant college career by playing professionally for several teams, including the New Hampshire Phantoms, the Connecticut Wolves, and the Boston Bulldogs, as well as U.S. Avellino of Serie C in Italy.
