Coaching Staff

Head Coach: Jen Richardson

Jen Richardson works with Seacoast United Essex Field Hockey Club as a U16 Premier coach and was previously the U14 coach at Danvers Indoor Sports. In addition to coaching for SUEFH. Jen has also served as Director of the Masconomet Youth Field Hockey Program since 2011.

A standout athlete at Hamilton-Wenham Regional High School, Jen lettered all four years in field hockey, basketball, and softball. From 1994 – 1997, Jen was a dominant player at Division 1 Northeastern University. She was inducted into Northeastern’s Hall of Fame in 2009 and led the team to four consecutive championship titles. She led the nation in points and set numerous Northeastern records.

Assistant Coach: Mary Harbist

Growing up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (also known as the "City of Champions"), Coach Harbist has a strong passion for sports and athletics - whether watching the Steelers on Monday Night Football or playing a game of pick-up basketball. Harbist played varsity field hockey, basketball, and lacrosse in high school, and she played competitive club field hockey at the University of Pittsburgh. Harbist has coached both middle school and high school field hockey teams and really enjoys coaching. In addition to coaching, Harbist has been teaching chemistry and biology at Pingree since 2012.

Assistant Coach: Colleen Tlagae

Before attending Hamilton College, where she graduated magna cum laude, Colleen Tlagae played field hockey for her high school team as well as participating in an indoor league. After graduation she returned to the sport as a coach at the JV and thirds level at The Hotchkiss School for four years. Although coach Tlagae no longer participates in competitive sports she loves watching the Red Sox, the Patriots, and Manchester United as well as keeping active by running and skiing. She joined the Pingree community in 2014 as a coach and member of the math department.
